How the work is carried out

First, the water supply is isolated and any pressure is released to work safely. The pipework is then prepared, the correct valve is fitted for the pipe type and location, and connections are tightened to the right standard. Finally, the system is brought back up to pressure and tested so you can be confident the valve shuts off properly and does not seep.

After installation

You will be shown how to operate the valve and what “open” and “closed” looks like. If access is poor or pipework is in a condition that could affect reliability, you will be advised on practical options before further work is carried out.
